Yard Work

From yard work to a Saturday meeting, the transition is magical! Spot the differences

Saturday Meeting

I bought this dress from one of the thirft stores I raid regularly in town. The red check print initially caught my eye -- anything RED has been calling my name lately! It's bold and daring and while a solid flush of red can be enticing, it can also feel a bit overwhelming and uncalled for in an everyday occasion.

The white in the check pattern helps balance the bold, giving the piece a sweet, breezy, picnic-y feel to it. Empire waistline and yet it has a relaxed drape- a beautifully light summer fabric with buttons all down the front. It feels sexy in a completely underwhelming way.

Flat sandals and a blue ball cap for gardening or lounging about in a summer way, and sandal wedges made for comfort and ease paired with a big bag to carry all your note taking essentials. (YOU NEVER KNOW WHEN THE NEXT NOTE TAKING OPPORTUNITY WILL ARISE. I RECOMMEND GEL PENS AND A MINI NOTEBOOK AT ALL TIMES.)

Those wedges were thrifted, the bag was Old Navy clearance, and the sandals were bought with my Dillard's Employee Discount that I had for the 2 months I lasted in retail.

My hair and face are natural- I think I barely splashed each with water. Saturday things.
