Monochromatic: RED + Peep into Tulsa Thrift Scene

Today I woke up and decided that Red was the color to be. Red everything, from my feet to my ears to my lips to my lids. Ok except my legs. I gotta find some balance somewhere, somehow!!

Again, most of this outfit was thrifted. My sweater is Lauren by Ralph Lauren and I got it for 5 bucks!!! It was an awesome find. These bbs are 44 at Macy's! Heh. Heh heh. I think this one is vintage, although I'm not sure how from how long ago. The one thing about it that makes me feel that way is the turtle neck.

Otherwise, if you search "red cable knit ralph lauren sweater," something very similar to this pops up.

So that's fun.

The shoes are also thrifted but I can't remember where from. I have a few regular spots though, and I'lll be sharing about this here in a min.

I washed my hair!!! Yay. So, I let it be down for today 'cause it was looking all healthy and stuff.

I used Kylie's eyeshadow palette-- it's about a year old so I don't think she's selling it anymore. But it's a go-to for me, the pigment is awesome and I love that there are only 2 options -- I always get overwhelmed when there are more. The other is a nice bronze that I've used maybe 1 time.

And I'm wearing my pom earrings. They're soft and for sale at F + F and also if you DM me ;)

I've got my round specs on bc 1. they are red and 2. they don't hurt my vision like my other ones do. They are falling apart and are currently being held together at the joints w some intense e6000 glue--- a DIYer's dream, I swear.

So I ran to work feeling all spunky and sparkly!

But only after a quick Starbucks bagel and coffee stop.

And so by the time break rolled around, I had a crash. And I may or may have used that excuse to lay down and take a dramatic self-timed photoshoot.

CONFESSION: Sometimes during break I sneak off to the Bridal Room to pee and take pics of myself.

THRIFT STORES TO CHECK OUT:

Community thrift -- they have the best shoe collection! Their prices can be high - but sometimes I find great finds and it doesn't matter (I mean high as far as thrifting goes)

Quality Thrift-- MONDAYS ARE 99cent (clothing) DAY. Go. It's worth it. Restore Rack -- on 11th and memorial. GEMS ALL AROUND. The prices vary but they usually have a discounted rack with great finds.
