Hallo!! Thanks for dropping in. Today I am going to talk to you a bit about some blazer looooove. <3 <3
There are lots of types of blazers. Fitted, loose, boyfriend, oversize, cropped, standard black/blue or pinstriped... some bright color...
they're fun, and why? because they add the perfect amount of "business" to any outfit - and can either be paired with a matching skirt or pant OR can be totally mix-matched with something else a little more funky.
I found the ultimate boyfriend blazer at at thrift store with shoulder pads- and it's GREEN.

This darling piece has a silky interior and deep front pockets- it's single breasted with a single button closure and wide lapels.
It's been sitting in my closet for months - I was intimidated by the boxy shape + bright color combo. How could I make this work ????
My insta post tagged another Tulsa fashion blogger- and she was my ultimate inspiration for this outfit. She paired an LBD with a timeless boyfriend blazer and sneakers - it was super cute and gave me motivation to find my own version!

My 'LBD' is decorated with flowers- the cut and fabric have me thinking it's from the 90's - it's one of my favorite pieces in my closet.
I cuffed the sleeves so that way it didn't look like I was drowning in all that green - it's a thing we petite people deal with on the regular. SHORT PPL PROBS.

Since I went to work and it was a little chilly out, I left sneakers behind and opted for classic black tights and powder pink loafers.
I added triangle-shaped 80's earrings, my go-to red canvas bag, and a half up pony to complete the cute, put-together yet laid-back look.

What do you think?
I'm a color-centered gal,
as you can see I don't shy away from mixing uncommon colors together (green, pink, red)
and everything comes together unexpectedly and quite nicely!!
